Summer 2008:
The spring brought us to many great shows including Tribal Fest 8 (in CA), Rakkasah Spring CAravan (in NJ), Shea's Performing Arts Center, Chautaqua's Amphitheater and more, not to mention some beautiful wedding and life events, and meeting many talented and creative artists.
March 2008:
Snow Snow Snow. It's about time! Besides staying warm and dry, I'm (Rob) personally using this time to enjoy the outdoors with a little downhill, while continuing the momentum from February.
February 2008:
Several happy couples have signed up for our Beautiful Candlelight Wedding Video Packages in both 2008 and 2009 (yup, folks are planning well in advance!). Besides a few theater shoots, we've been focusing on building out our life-centric services, and building peer relationships online.
January 2008:
Candlelight Productions participated in several wedding shows in Buffalo and Western New York, including the Ever-After Engagement Party, and the "Perfect Bridal Show" at the Galleria Mall.

Lifecycle Events -- Wedding Sample
Each Wedding Is Unique, but every wedding is magical. We'll capture all your special moments, and surprise you with those that you miss.
This 18 Minute Sample Wedding Reel contains highlights from a July 4th beach wedding -- 3-Cam Ceremony + 2-Cam Reception + lots of love. Not filtered to show just our "best 1 minute", this real deel shows snippets of the entire wedding video -- full coverage from multiple angles, shooting with our weather-proof equipment in the rain!
This July 4th beach wedding was shot in Angola NY for Tiffany King and Ryan Detzel. He was to be the "shipwrecked gentleman rescued by his beautiful mermaid" with the moto "good things come to those who wait."
This beautiful ceremony shoot had several challenges to overcome:
- Sand -- shooting on the beach means extra care for equipment (one grain of sand can wreck havoc on cameras!).
No Problem!: our cameras are weather-wrapped to protect them for outdoor shoots.
- Wind -- wind coming off the water can wash out the audio.
No Problem!: Camera positioning with 3 cameras assured at least oen camera would be protected from the wind. Coupled with wireless microphones, we maintained 100% audio throughout the ceremony.
- Visibility -- intimate and special, the pastor unexpectedly invited the guests to leave their seats and come close to (surround) the couple, blocking our well-positioned cameras. As rain picked up, umbrellas were also, protecting the bride and groom but also blocking our cameras.
No Problem!: Our team staggered repositioning so we always maintained coverage during transitions. The non-fixed cameras were shot handheld standing on chairs, nealing beneath umbrellas -- while remaining discreat.
These challenges were easy for us to deal with, because we were prepared, skilled, and love what we do!

Theatrical Productions
Stage productions tell a story, whether through movement, spoken word, instrumentation or song. Re-telling that story so that the home viewer is emersed in your production, is an art. Unlike single-camera setups (a "Camera on a Stick"), we treat your production with respect using 3-5 camera setups, meticulous editing and authoring extras to make your DVDs a lifetime keepsake.
